My husband and I are so excited to announce our little bundle of joy is a boy! We can't wait to meet little Peter in June of this year. So far, he is kicking and moving around a lot at nearly 22 weeks and I am finally starting to show some. I am excited to share his progression and growth here on the blog with all of you.
Last weekend, I photographed the newly engaged Kara and Joe at one of my ALL TIME FAVORITE PLACES, Mulberry Fields. A beautiful home located on the water in Southern Maryland. It was a bitter cold day, the coldest day that we have had so far, and the wind was strong. Kara and Joe prevailed through, and made the most adorable couple ever despite the frigid temperatures and harsh wind. I couldn't be happier for this loving couple.
Traditions of Loveville is a wonderful shop located in Southern Maryland and specializing in interior decor, gifts and accessories. I have been working with this shop for about a year and a half and I love my co-workers, and of course it is fun to be around all the beautiful items in the store (and it makes it hard to keep a paycheck!).
Recently, we decided to do a LookBook, featuring a few of the items you can find in the store as gifts for the holiday season. We put out a call for a model search, and Samantha was chosen. So, on a windy, rainy, cold afternoon we got together and put together the LookBook that features Traditions of Loveville's house jewelry, locally made accessories, Vera Bradley and Brighton. Welcome to the new Laura-Elizabeth Photography.com! I am excited about the new layout and I hope you are too!
2013 has been a crazy year for me. I started my photography business and I couldn't be more pleased with the love and support I have received from my friends, family and clients. I am one lucky girl. This year, as my first, I was lucky enough to photograph weddings, couples, families and seniors and be part of many life changes.
Now, my husband and I are having a life change of our own. We recently found out that we will be E X P E C T I N G a little Baby Moore in the Spring of 2014 and we couldn't be more excited! Unfortunately, this means I will be unable to accept weddings leading up the expected birth of Baby Moore in the beginning of June. Therefore, May and June all together I will be on maternity leave (but don't expect the camera to be put away, Baby Moore will be well photographed!). I plan on going back to weddings in July, so feel free to contact me about late summer weddings and engagements! I plan on being able to photograph families, and couples into April, and some of May as well.
