I'm Laura Moore, a photographer based in Southern Maryland, where I live with my husband, Nick, and our two children, Maxine and Peter. I’m a proud 2009 graduate of St. Mary’s College of Maryland, where I earned a degree in History, and I’ve called this beautiful region home for my entire life.

In 2012, I made the decision to leave a corporate career and follow a more creative path—one that aligned with my lifelong appreciation for the arts and storytelling. Photography quickly became the medium through which I could combine both.

Artistic expression has always been a part of my life. My mother, Carolyn Egeli, is a professional portrait artist, and many members of my family have pursued careers in the arts. Some of my earliest memories involve assisting my mother during her sessions, carefully changing rolls of film. That early exposure planted the seed for what would eventually grow into my own passion for visual storytelling.

With encouragement from my husband, I picked up a camera and began to explore photography in earnest. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of documenting weddings, families, and meaningful everyday moments—always with the goal of creating timeless, heartfelt images that reflect the beauty of real life.
